Nebraska Cattlemen Announces Hannah Pearson as a Member Services Field Staffer
LINCOLN, NE (January 9, 2024) – Nebraska Cattlemen is pleased to announce the hire of Hannah Pearson as a Member Services Field Staffer. Hannah Pearson is a native of Nebraska, where she grew up on a commercial cow calf and backgrounding operation. She was an active member of the Nebraska and National Junior Hereford Association where she served as a director/officer on both boards. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and minor in Animal Science. During that time, she was active on both Tech’s meat and livestock judging teams. Hannah is excited to return to her home state and achieve a career goal of working with a grassroots organization.

Dave Burkholder Receives the Nebraska Cattlemen Hall of Fame Award
Highest Honor Awarded by Nebraska Cattlemen
LINCOLN, Neb. (Dec. 19, 2024) – During the Nebraska Cattlemen Annual Awards Banquet, Dave Burkholder received the 2024 Nebraska Cattlemen Hall of Fame award for his lifetime of service to Nebraska’s beef cattle industry.
The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor Nebraska Cattlemen can give one of its members. The Nominations Committee selects members based on their contribution to the beef industry, contribution to the Nebraska Cattlemen organization, community and civic contributions, and their cattle business accomplishments.
